Target to open in March

BULLHEAD CITY - The Bullhead City Target store is set to open March 9. Target will need to hire approximately 300 employees "and we'll have a job fair ... probably in December, because we start stocking the store in early February," said Miklos Mehes, Target's construction manager.

Target will join Kohl's as the two "anchor"(major) stores at Mohave Crossroads shopping center, which officially broke ground July 26 at Highway 95 and the southern end of the Bullhead Parkway.

"Weingarten Realty is very excited about this project," said Lance Sherwood, development manager for Mohave Crossroads owner Weingarten Realty Investors, "and we've had a great working relationship with the city of Bullhead City and we're all very excited about Target and Kohl's coming to town."

Sherwood said Weingarten is in the process of signing up other tenants and will be able to announce more new stores for Mohave Crossroads in the near future.
