Corbiz shows off new warehouses; Bullhead City facility modern, but priced right

River Cities Business Journal

BULLHEAD CITY - The finishing touches are still being done, but CNH/Corbiz invited the business community to come see its two newest facilities at the Bullhead Airpark Corporate Center on Oct. 24.

“This is the most upscale office/showroom/warehouse space in Mohave County,” John Keith, broker for Kaplan Commercial Real Estate & Development, said. “These guys (Corbiz), everything they do is upscale. They pride themselves in quality construction and having a nice product for their tenants.”

The open house was held at the 16,963-square-foot warehouse at 2550 Landon Dr. The building features a covered loading dock, three-phase 480 volt, 800 amp electrical system, fenced and gated parking, fiber optic phone lines and an 1,100-square foot mezzanine.

The mezzanine's west and north walls are each one large pane glass offering views across the river and of the mountains to the north.

The finish work is not completed on the two buildings.

“We haven't really figured out a price because we haven't figured in all the construction costs,” Keith said.

Joaquin Cordero of CNH/Corbiz indicated that despite the upscale nature of the two buildings the price structure will be competitive with other warehouse facilities in the county.

“We actually have flexibility in our rents,” Cordero said. “It depends on what the customer wants.”

But, the big selling point is really customer service, Cordero said.

“We take care of the tenant,” Cordero said. “We cater to the customer and we know we've got to go that extra little step.”

Corbiz prides itself in its building maintenance and does subtle things that make it more efficient to keep a sharp appearance inside and out.

“We paint the bottom three feet of the building a contrasting color,” Cordero said. “The bottom three feet get nicked up the most. When it gets scratched up instead of having to repaint the whole wall we can just repaint part of it.”

Aesthetics are important to Corbiz as well. The company has already planted palm trees and shrubbery around the building.

“We're going to have synthetic grass so it will look green all the time with natural shrubs and natural trees,” Cordero said.

Cordero's long term plans also call for a strip mall at the airpark and they are courting Trader Joe's to be a cornerstone.
