The River Cities Business Journal is the premier source of business news for the Tri-State Area of the lower Colorado River. This area includes all of Mohave County, Arizona; Needles, California; and southeast Nevada. This burgeoning section of the Colorado River includes the gaming community of Laughlin, Nevada and the rapidly growing communities of Bullhead City, Arizona, Mohave Valley, Arizona, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Kingman, Arizona. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, Mohave County is the fastest growing county in the state of Arizona.
Launched in May 2005, The River Cities Business Journal serves the growing business community of the Tri-state area. Readers will get the information they need to stay competitive and grow their businesses. It provides them with stories that delve into various issues such as business trends, financing resources and changes in business law.
The River Cities Business Journal covers all aspects of the business community: construction, real estate, finance, gaming, tourism and all the enterprises that support those industries. It reports on who is new in the area, who moved from one location to another and who is planning to launch a new business or expand an existing one.

Brehm Communications, Inc. recently celebrated its 85th anniversary. The company was launched in 1919 by W.J. (Bill) McGiffin and partners with the purchase of the Fort Madison, Iowa, Evening Democrat. After World War II, W.J. (Bill) Brehm started with the W.J. McGiffin Newspaper Company at the Bell-Maywood Industrial Post as a printer's devil. Brehm became publisher of the Post in 1951. Following the death of McGiffin in 1955, Brehm served as general manager of the company until 1960 when he became president. Today, the Brehm family produces more than 40 newspapers, including six dailies, across the country.
